Rapidly assessing the toxicity of environmental contaminants which is of high significance will be further applied in the future, and three sensitive endpoints commonly used in this regard are acute mortality, acute cyst hatchability as well as behavioral response (swimming speed). The establishment of an international standard using Artemia spp. is necessary and that requires joint efforts of various stakeholders. Besides toxicity testing itself, Artemia spp. can be investigated to offer some of the valuable insights on a biological perspective and for bio-conservative purposes.}, issn = {2375-1924}, doi = {10.18103/mra.v6i2.1700}, url = {https://esmed.org/MRA/mra/article/view/1700} }
