Non-pharmacological interventions for delirium: implementation and challenges

delirium is a common complication in hospitalized patients
this may present higher incidences in patients with higher predisposing risks, as in the case of older people; or in patients high precipitating factors such as patients in intensive care units

Until now, non-pharmacological prevention measures are the ones that have the greatest impact, in view of this, it is relevant to review methodological and practical aspects for their planning and implementation.
