UDC 796.015.7:612.821 Neurophysiological Assessment of the Functional State of Rifle Shooters under Statodynamic Load Using Neuroenergocartography and Translingual Neurostimulation
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presents the results of an experimental study investigating the effect of translingual neurostimulation on the functional state of the cerebral cortex in qualified shooters following prolonged statodynamic load. The study involved six male student-athletes aged 18–20 years, holding at least a first sports category and the title of Candidate for Master of Sports, specializing in standing air rifle shooting. Neurophysiological status was assessed using the neuroenergocartography method by recording the level of constant potentials in five standard leads (Fz, Cz, Oz, Td, Ts) across four sequential states: at rest, immediately after load, after 10 minutes of recovery, and after TLNS application. It was established that the initial functional state of the participants is characterized by reduced activity of the frontal regulatory zones alongside hyperactivity of the occipital and left temporal cortical areas. The application of TLNS facilitated the normalization of interhemispheric asymmetry and reduced overall hyperactivation of the central nervous system; however, it did not restore the energy status of the prefrontal cortex. The obtained data confirm the prognostic value of the level of constant potentials registration method for the objective assessment of athletes' neurophysiological stability and the development of individualized approaches to training process management.
