Abstract
Natural multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (nMS) have emerged as promising tools for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. American Stem Cell Base has isolated mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from various tissues without the use of exogenous digestive enzymes, established a catalog of distinct stem cell types, and developed a xeno-free, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)-free culture system. Allogeneic nMS at passages 7–12 have been used in clinical applications to treat patients with more than 100 different diseases and medical conditions.
To date, the laboratory has performed thousands of stem cell transplantations across a broad spectrum of diseases and conditions, including rare genetic disorders, treatment-resistant and refractory diseases, and various forms of cancer. Clinical outcomes have been documented using real-time medical records, supported by laboratory diagnostic findings and physician assessments based on established, measurable clinical endpoints. Across these clinical applications, no significant treatment-related adverse effects have been observed. These findings suggest that nMS therapy have demonstrated a favorable safety profile and encouraging therapeutic potential across a wide range of clinical indications.
