Angelo P. Giardino, MD, PhD, MPH

Angelo P. Giardino, MD, PhD, MPH, is the Wilma T. Gibson Presidential Professor and chair of pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and chief medical officer at Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital. Board-certified in pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics, he is a physician executive, educator, and advocate for child health. His scholarship and professional service address child maltreatment, patient safety, quality improvement, health financing, and pediatric systems of care. He has contributed to national curricula, textbooks, and professional organizations focused on improving care for children and families.
