Annelise Klettner

Annelise Klettner, PhD, is a social psychologist and data analyst whose work examines health, relationships, stigma, and the social consequences of chronic health conditions. She completed doctoral training in psychological science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and has conducted experimental research on illness-related stress and interpersonal support. Her research explores how diagnostic labels and visible health conditions shape perceptions and responses within romantic relationships. She brings an applied behavioral-science perspective to questions of emotional wellbeing, social judgment, and the ways people navigate health challenges in everyday life.
