John Pellitteri

John Pellitteri, PhD, is a psychologist, professor of counseling psychology, psychotherapist, and creative arts therapist. He has more than three decades of clinical and educational experience and is a co-founder and former president of the International Society for Emotional Intelligence. His research and writing examine emotional intelligence in relation to personality, education, counseling, creativity, and psychological adaptation. He has also presented on music therapy and Jungian psychology. His recent work explores aesthetic experience as a pathway for developing emotional awareness and regulation, connecting creative engagement with broader questions of mental and physical wellbeing.
