About Kannan
Kannan O Ahmed is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the National University of Science and Technology in Muscat, Oman, with academic experience in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy education. His research focuses on pharmaceutical care, medication adherence, drug-related problems, and clinical pharmacist interventions, including studies involving patients with diabetes and heart failure. Through collaborative research, he has also contributed to work on mycetoma, medication safety, and clinical research participation among pharmacists and pharmacologists in Sudan. Alongside his research, his academic work includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentoring learners, and contributing to pharmacy curriculum development and accreditation activities.
