Laila Abu Zaid, MD, was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She served as the Academic Chief Resident for the year of 2015-16, and completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center. She is currently an endocrinologist at Avera Medical Group Endocrinology & Diabetes in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA.
