Navid Shafigh is an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, where he also practices as a critical care physician. His clinical work focuses on managing critically ill patients, with particular attention to mechanical ventilation, airway management, vascular access, and hemodynamic support. Alongside clinical practice, his academic interests include sepsis, patient safety, and the application of artificial intelligence in intensive care. His research and educational activities also address evidence-based critical care, clinical research methods, and advances in the assessment and management of complications affecting patients in intensive care units.
