Popovych Vasyl

Vasyl Popovych is a professor and Head of the Department of Surgery No. 1 at Lviv Medical University in Ukraine, with a clinical and research focus on otolaryngology and pediatric otolaryngology. His work addresses acute and chronic diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, and pharyngeal lymphoid structures, as well as hearing disorders, cochlear implantation rehabilitation, and the prevention of treatment-related tissue injuries. After graduating with honors from Tomsk Medical Institute in 1985, he developed a research career spanning clinical oncology and academic medicine, later focusing on mechanisms and treatment strategies associated with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease. His scholarly contributions include more than 400 publications, alongside books, educational materials, and inventions related to medical science and practice.
