Tieble TRAORE

Tieble Traore is a One Health Technical Officer in the Health Emergency, Pandemics and Threats Preparedness programme at the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa. A trained veterinarian with postgraduate qualifications in infectious disease immunology and epidemiology, he works to strengthen collaboration across human, animal, and environmental health sectors to improve the prevention, detection, and response to zoonotic diseases and other public health threats. His work has included supporting Ebola outbreak response, strengthening integrated disease surveillance, and helping countries develop multisectoral coordination mechanisms under the International Health Regulations. His research and technical publications address health security, epidemic preparedness, joint risk assessment, and practical approaches to implementing One Health across diverse country settings.
