Wisam Bukaita, PhD

Wisam Bukaita is an assistant professor of practice in the College of Arts and Sciences at Lawrence Technological University. His work spans engineering, data science, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence, with applications to healthcare and engineering problems. He holds doctoral training in civil engineering and a master's degree from Lawrence Technological University. His research specialties include data mining, analysis, engineering simulation, visualization, deep learning, computer vision, and structural engineering analysis. Bukaita mentors undergraduate and graduate research projects and supports data science education. His scholarly work applies computational methods to complex engineering systems, linking advanced analytics with practical problem-solving and the preparation of students for interdisciplinary research.
