Aims & Scope
Worldwide, 1 in 4 adults over the age of 25 will have a stroke in their lifetime. Unfortunately stroke rates are climbing, and at an alarming rate. Advancements in stroke prevention and improved recovery are necessary to slow the spread of this disease.
This Special Issue will focus on recent developments in our understanding of stroke and possible paths towards reducing the burden of the disease.
