A simple two-compartment model with absorption of order zero and first order elimination

Abstract
In this paper a simple two-compartment model with absorption of order zero and elimination of order one is introduced. The properties of the model are studied and mathematical expressions for relevant pharmacokinetic quantities are derived. Focus is on enabling researchers with a non-mathematical background to apply the model in practice, and R and Stata code to achieve this is provided.
