Abstract

Granulomatous mastitis belongs to the group of non-puerperal inflammatory diseases of the mammary gland. It is a rare condition whose incidence may be underestimated due to its nonspecific clinical presentation, the wide range of differential diagnoses, and an etiology that is not yet fully understood, making it both a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Definitive management is mainly based on immunosuppressive agents. We present two cases of premenopausal women with granulomatous mastitis who presented with unilateral local inflammatory breast manifestations. Clinical, imaging, histological, and etiological evaluations were performed, followed by therapeutic optimization, resulting in a favorable outcome.
