About Angelo
Angelo P. Giardino is the Wilma T. Gibson Presidential Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah’s Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, as well as Chief Medical Officer at Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. His work spans pediatric healthcare, medical quality, and healthcare leadership, drawing on extensive experience in hospital administration and health plan management. He earned his medical degree and doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania and completed residency and fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, later obtaining a Master of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts. His additional professional affiliations include service on the Intermountain Community Care Foundation board and the national advisory board of Got Transition.
