About Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie O'Brien is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Malek School of Health Professions at Marymount University. Her research focuses on Chronic Disease Self-Management, Family Caregivers, Health Disparities, and Health Behaviors, with articles appearing in Western Journal of Nursing Research, Journal of Women's Health, Nursing Research, and Drexel University Law Review. Dr. O'Brien is also women's health nurse practitioner with extensive experience in infertility and clinical research in both hospital and academic settings. Dr. O'Brien holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and UCLA, as well as a PhD in Nursing from Arizona State University.
