About Anushka
Anushka Peiris is a Senior Registrar in Adult Cardiology at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka in Colombo, with additional clinical training experience at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Rockhampton Hospital in Australia. Her work spans clinical and interventional cardiology, building on postgraduate training in internal medicine and advanced specialty training in cardiovascular care. Alongside clinical practice, she has contributed to research on stroke awareness and differences between ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in Sri Lanka, as well as presenting work at international cardiovascular meetings. Her professional interests include cardiac imaging, procedural training, and the continued development of expertise in interventional cardiology.
