Tanya Pereira is a Consultant Cardiologist at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka in Colombo, where her clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. Her areas of practice include cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and valvular heart disease. In clinical care, she performs procedures such as coronary angioplasty and stenting, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiological studies, and pacemaker implantation. Her professional qualifications include an MBBS and MD from Sri Lanka, membership of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom, and fellowships in several international cardiology and medical organizations.
