Brian Prigmore, MD

Brian Prigmore, MD, is an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Utah. He studied at Brown University and completed medical training at Oregon Health and Science University before beginning residency in Salt Lake City. His developing clinical interests include shoulder and elbow surgery, sports medicine, and orthopaedic trauma. He has participated in research examining outcomes after complex knee injuries, including the prevalence of radiographic osteoarthritis following surgically treated multiligament knee trauma. His work reflects an interest in understanding how major joint injuries affect patients over time and how surgical and rehabilitative care can improve long-term function.
