About Joseph
Joseph T. Featherall, MD, is an orthopaedic sports medicine specialist at the University of Utah with a particular focus on pediatric and adolescent athletes. He completed orthopaedic surgery residency followed by advanced training in sports medicine, developing expertise in the evaluation and treatment of injuries affecting active young people. His clinical interests include knee and shoulder disorders, ligament and cartilage injuries, return-to-sport planning, and age-appropriate surgical care. His research contributions include studies of multiligament knee injury and later osteoarthritis, reflecting an interest in both immediate reconstruction and the long-term health of injured joints.
