Corinne Michels

Corinne A. Michels, PhD, is a molecular geneticist and Distinguished Professor Emerita of Biology at Queens College, City University of New York. She earned her doctorate at Columbia University and completed postdoctoral research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her laboratory research investigated the regulation of gene expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, with sustained support from the National Institutes of Health and National Science Foundation. She has authored more than 75 journal articles, reviews, and book chapters and wrote the textbook Genetic Techniques for Biological Research: A Case Study Approach.
