About Daniel
Daniel Francisco Martínez is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Salvador (USAL) in Argentina, where he works to strengthen medical education and professional training. A specialist in pulmonology, he combines academic leadership with ongoing clinical practice and has contributed to medical education and accreditation initiatives since joining the university’s educational work in 2009. His academic interests include developing physicians’ clinical competence alongside strong doctor-patient relationships, with an emphasis on integrating humanistic values into medical training. In 2019, he received the Maestro de la Medicina Argentina award from the National Academy of Medicine in recognition of his professional experience and commitment to the university community.
