About david
David Dingli is a professor of medicine and hematologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where his clinical work includes the care of patients with blood disorders and plasma cell diseases. His research explores cancer biology, tumor virotherapy, and the mathematical modeling of blood cell development and cancer progression, including how tumors respond to treatment. Drawing on training in medicine at the University of Malta and molecular biology at Mayo Clinic, he combines theoretical modeling with experimental research to investigate interactions between therapeutic viruses, tumors, and the immune system. His work also examines clonal evolution in blood disorders and the role of stem cell transplantation in hematopoietic recovery.
