About María
María del Rocío Robledo Yugueros is a Paraguayan higher-education and competitiveness specialist affiliated with the Centro para el Desarrollo de la Competitividad. She has served as a professor at the center and was its executive director during a 2017 project on innovative financing mechanisms for dynamic new businesses. She was a titular member of Paraguay's National Agency for Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation during the 2003 to 2008 and 2008 to 2012 periods. Her academic interests include teacher training, competency-based medical education, institutional quality, and innovation policy. She is a coauthor of research on medical education at the National University of Asunción, linking her work in higher education with national competitiveness and professional development.
