About Orlaith
Orlaith Kelly, MB BCh BAO, MRCPI, PhD, is a consultant gastroenterologist in Dublin with subspecialty expertise in inflammatory bowel disease and endoscopy. After specialist training in Ireland, she completed advanced clinical and research fellowships at the University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital. She is a clinical senior lecturer, training lead, clinical-trial investigator, and national specialty director for gastroenterology training. Her work spans general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal and gastric cancer screening, and service planning. She contributes to European research initiatives designed to evaluate and implement effective digestive-cancer screening programs.
