About Pablo
Pablo Lores is a medical oncology resident at Servicio Médico Integral (SMI) in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he combines clinical training with an interest in oncological research. His current research investigates the glycoimmune profile of early-stage triple-negative breast cancer and its relationship to response to neoadjuvant therapy. With a background in medical sciences and biomedical research, he has also studied macrophages in the inflammatory response associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Alongside his clinical and research activities, he teaches immunology and health-related bioprocesses in the Biotechnology Technologist program at Uruguay’s Dirección General de Educación Técnico-Profesional, contributing to the education of students in biomedical and laboratory sciences.
