Sofia Konstantinopoulou

Sofia Konstantinopoulou, MD, is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist and sleep-medicine physician. She trained and worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and held an academic appointment at the University of Pennsylvania. She later joined Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, where she has led pediatric aerodigestive and sleep services and cared for children requiring home mechanical ventilation. She also teaches pediatric trainees and serves as adjunct clinical faculty. Her interests include cystic fibrosis, sleep-disordered breathing, respiratory technology, clinical research, health advocacy, and the responsible use of digital and artificial-intelligence tools in pediatric pulmonary care.
