SriPrakash L. Mokshagundam, MD

Sri Prakash L. Mokshagundam, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the University of Louisville’s Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes, with clinical practice focused on comprehensive endocrinology. His areas of interest include diabetes, obesity, thyroid disease, and adrenal and pituitary disorders, alongside broader metabolic conditions. After earning his medical degree from Mysore Medical College, he completed residency training in internal medicine in New York and fellowship training in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes at Montefiore Medical Center. His academic and clinical roles have included leadership of the endocrinology fellowship program and service as Chief of Endocrinology at the Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
