About Jennifer

Jennifer Rangel Ambriz is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Computational and Quantitative Medicine at Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where she works with mathematical and computational models in cancer research. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside, with research training in mathematical biology and interdisciplinary approaches to developmental processes. During her doctoral studies, she developed stochastic and multiscale mechanistic models to investigate epithelial tissue development, particularly the formation of the fruit fly wing. At City of Hope, her research focuses on modeling the development and progression of acute myeloid leukemia, patient outcomes, and treatment responses to help inform investigations into potential therapeutic approaches.
