Jawad Alzeer

Jawad Alzeer, PhD, is a chemist, senior scientist at the University of Zurich, and adjunct professor at Palestine Polytechnic University. He completed doctoral study at ETH Zurich and postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan. His research has included organic chemistry, nucleoside design, cancer-related metabolic studies, and science education for medical students. He also works at the intersection of health, sustainability, and ethical innovation, including the development of systems-based approaches to wellbeing. His academic career combines laboratory research, university teaching, scientific communication, and international collaboration in medicine and chemistry.
