Michael Joshua Ostacher

Michael J. Ostacher, MD, MPH, is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University and a physician with the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System. His clinical and research interests include mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, suicide prevention, substance use, and improving mental healthcare for veterans. He has led and collaborated on studies evaluating treatments, health-service delivery, and risk assessment in complex psychiatric populations.
