About Danielle
Danielle Mari Panelli, MD, is a maternal-fetal medicine physician and assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Her clinical and research work centers on high-risk pregnancy, maternal complications, preterm birth, pregnancy loss, and improving outcomes before and after delivery. She contributes to interdisciplinary studies of postpartum recovery, mental health, sleep, and severe maternal morbidity. Her scholarship also examines how clinical risk, health-system practices, and patient experience interact across pregnancy and the postpartum period. Through patient care, research, and education, she works to strengthen evidence-based approaches for complex pregnancies and maternal wellbeing.
