About Nadira

Nadira Sultana is a Medical Officer in Paediatric Nephrology at Bangladesh Medical University in Dhaka, formerly Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. She earned an MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College and an MD in Pediatric Nephrology from BSMMU. Her clinical and research interests include childhood nephrotic syndrome, lupus nephritis, acute kidney injury, renal hypertension, and pediatric urinary tract infection. Her publications address liver dysfunction in systemic lupus erythematosus, steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome, vaccination and relapse prevention, and the economic impact of childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. In the July 2026 Medical Research Archives study, she contributed to a tertiary-care analysis of pediatric UTI microbiology, antimicrobial susceptibility, and predictors of culture-positive infection in Bangladesh.
